Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking uses the upper body and lower body at the same time, burning up to 46% more calories than normal walking.

Emma worked with me twice a week for 5 weeks in the lead up to my wedding and she was fantastic! I wanted to work on my arms and we certainly did! Emma came to me and was very flexible with times we could meet – often coming out late at night to accommodate the hours I worked. Emma was a fantastic trainer, she was quietly persistent in challenging and pushing me to work harder – her approach and style were really fantastic. Emma clearly knows her stuff.


I had gone to step and aerobic classes years ago but wanted a more focussed approach to getting fit and I needed a flexible timetable. Emma’s mature approach and breadth of knowledge backed by her professional qualifications made me choose her and she has helped me achieve my goals with a quite encouragement and professionalism that has made each session enjoyable and progress swift.


I would like to thank you for the excellent training, guidance and encouragement you gave me over the last six months. I feel so much better for having done it. I was most impressed by your ability to push me so far but not to overdo things. I did find it quite hard at first but, as you predicted, by the end of six months I was actually enjoying it!
